Boucheron opens its largest regional boutique at Lagoona Mall

French high jewellery house Boucheron has opened a new boutique at Lagoona Mall in Doha, with an intimate opening held on 8 June 2026. The published information describes it as the brand’s largest store in the region. This is not Boucheron’s first arrival in Qatar. The maison now has two stores in the country and twelve locations across the wider region.

The boutique is located on the first floor of Lagoona Mall. Its facade is formed from metal prisms with one green face and one mirrored face. Reflections and the proportion of the maison’s characteristic green therefore change as visitors move past the entrance. The architectural treatment refers both to the facets of a gemstone and to grosgrain, one of Boucheron’s recognised decorative signatures.

The interior draws on Boucheron’s historic address at Place Vendôme in Paris. The main sales area combines symmetry, black frames, metal details and botanical patterns. Soft pink and blue wall coverings are paired with yellow accents and green textiles. The colour scheme around one consultation area also makes a measured reference to the colours of the Qatari flag.

Two private lounges form part of the new store. The first contains a work by Qatari artist Shua’a Ali. She used pieces of marble left from the boutique’s construction and combined them with wood. The work considers memory, landscape and Qatar’s continuing transformation. It is therefore connected directly to the making of the space instead of serving as an unrelated decorative addition.

The second lounge evokes a garden while incorporating local visual references. A digital window shows a desert oasis through which Wladimir, the cat associated with Boucheron’s history, moves over the course of the day. Trellis elements draw on arabesque patterns, a floral ceiling continues into the carpet, and the room leads to a dining area intended for private appointments.

Another artwork is a glass marquetry composition by French artist Myriam Hubert. Precisely assembled pieces of glass and mirror create reflections that shift with the visitor’s position. The boutique also uses round tables instead of placing a conventional square counter between clients and advisers. This supports the maison’s idea of a store arranged for personal conversation.

Boucheron’s official store locator confirms the current Lagoona Mall address. The opening expands Doha’s high jewellery offer in a destination already associated with luxury retail. Visitors should distinguish this new and larger regional store from the maison’s other Qatar location at Villaggio Mall.
